<Cauldyth> our sysadmin needs a reality check me thinks
<Cauldyth> this means nothing to anyone but him, and he sent it to the entire company:
<Cauldyth> "While in the NYC office on Friday, monica experienced a SCSI bus fault on the storage array's backplane. The error was compounded by a bad sector and thus left the array unable to recover from the bus fault. The result of the issue was an internal checksum loop on the array and the cluster's NFS system overloaded the manager node while attempting to keep up with the compute nodes that were attempting to reach this now unavailable array. The manager, in turn, became unavailable both remotely and at the console."
